Argentine Tango – A Private Party of Two

The only couple on the dance floor

Let’s face it. At its base, tango is a courting ritual. Since its earliest days, liaisons of every sort have blossomed in dance halls the world over. But often the length of a tanda is enough to make a lasting impression. Even when there is no physical attraction, the connection between humans in a tango embrace can be surprisingly powerful. When it’s right, it’s so right. So right, in fact, that the couple may completely forget about everyone else in the room, about body mechanics, navigation, and certainly how they look. They enter the flow in unison. That moment is timeless.
